Förstärkt budskap i IPCCs rapporter
Från IPCCs start på 80-talet har klimatforskningen ständigt utvecklats. Huvudbudskapen kring människans påverkan på klimatet har stått sig sedan dess, snarare är det osäkerheterna som tydliggjorts och minskat. Nedan listas budskapen från samtliga rapporter kring människans påverkan på nuvarande uppvärmning.
IPCC AR6, 2021:
It is unequivocal that human influence has warmed the atmosphere, ocean and land. Widespread and rapid changes in the atmosphere, ocean, cryosphere and biosphere have occurred.
IPCC AR5 2013:
Human influence on the climate system is clear, and recent anthropogenic emissions of green- house gases are the highest in history. Recent climate changes have had widespread impacts on human and natural systems.
IPCC AR4, 2005:
Most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations.
IPCC TAR (AR3), 2000:
Most of the observed warming over the last 50 years is likely to have been due to the increase in greenhouse gas concentrations.
IPCC SAR (AR2), 1995:
There is new and stronger evidence that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities.
IPCC FAR (AR1), 1990
There is concern that human activities may be inadvertently changing the climate of the globe through the enhanced greenhouse effect, by past and continuing emissions of carbon dioxide and other gases which will cause the temperature of the Earth’s surface to increase – popularly termed the ”global warming’. If this occurs, consequent changes may have a significant impact on society.
